It is really shocking that just for getting grades lower than expected in exams, some students get so much upset that taking extreme step of committing suicides takes place. The duty of the teachers as well as the parents is, among other things, to keep on discussing and sharing with the students that life was a gift from the nature and was meant to be lived and enjoyed. This gift once gone was never and never going to be got back. The parents , not necessary all , generally keep on insisting that only their wards were destined to shine and hence required to work hardest , taking cover under stiff competition and what not. When a few of the depressed decide to end their lives, the unfortunate parents remain shell shocked their lives throughout. Before and immediately after declaring of exam results, parents of those boys and girls may keep a continuous watch on their wards having performed below their expectations to preempt any extreme step taken in a huff of emotions by them.
