SRINAGAR, May 26: The Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) continuing with its weekly interaction session today organized a workshop on the theme ‘Preventive Vigilance’ in which officers expressed their views on the subject.
Delivering the key note address, ADGP/Director Vigilance Organization, Sheikh Owais Ahmed emphasized on taking effective measures to curb both the tendency as well as actual attempts of corruption or corrupt practices by the public servants and members of the society in general and making the objective of corruption free institutions a reality.
The other participants in the workshop included IGP Vigilance Organization Alok Puri, AIG Policy Vigilance Organization Sameer Rekhi, SP, Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma, Dy. Director Prosecution Gulshan Ahmed Kaloo, Dy. Director Prosecution Nissar Hussain Drabu, and Chief Prosecuting Officer VOK Srinagar Sheikh Muzaffar Ahmed, besides the Investigating officers of the organization.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the participants also held an interesting open ended interactive session amongst themselves focusing on making the Vigilance Organization more effective on this aspect.
