JAMMU, May 26: All Jammu and Kashmir Ayurvedic Congress (JKAC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Dr Satya Gupta.
While speaking, Dr Sayta Gupta demanded immediate bifurcation of State level Directorate of ISM and establishment of Provincial Directorates for judicious day-to-day administration, provision of administrative staff for all newly created districts, immediate notification for admission from current academic session in Government Ayurvedic College, provision of staff for single handed 45 ISM institutions, which are being managed by Medical Officers alone since 1983.
He also demanded necessary administrative measures for improvisation of infrastructure, which is virtually same which existed 4 decades earlier and provision of two post of B Grade specialist for each district in order to provide specialist expertise to ailing masses.
Dr Gupta urged the Government to redress the issues at the earliest.
