JAMMU, May 27: A man allegedly tried to end his life by immolating himself at his residence in Rajpura area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, 38-year-old Kuldeep, son of Rattan Lal of Rajpura, immolated himself by pouring kerosene oil at his residence today.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was undergoing treatment when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bakshi Nagar police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
