NEW DELHI, May 28: Crude palm oil prices rose by Rs 3.10 to Rs 523.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today after traders created speculative positions on the back of rising spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for June delivery rose by Rs 3.10, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 523.30 per kg, with a trading volume of 97 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in May moved up by Rs 1.30, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 526.10 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 50 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions built up by speculators driven by rising spot demand led to gain in crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
