JKATA demands regularization

SRINAGAR, May 29: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) today demanded all agricultural technocrats be regularized and appointed as Village Agriculture Extension Assistant in the department.
A delegation of Agriculture Technocrats under the banner of JKATA led by Dr. Surinder Radotra president of Association called upon Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar and appealed him to address their long pending demand on priority.
“We also appeal Minister for Agriculture to intervene in the matter to save our future as most of us have crossed the age limits required for applying for other Government job,” the statement said.
The statement also said that they also met Minister of State Agriculture, Nazeer Ahmed Gurezi and brought into his notice along with CM the negative approach and attitude of some elements who are hell bent in creating hurdles and scuttles in their regularization process.
“After giving patient hearing to our demands, CM assured proactive steps on the part of Government in larger interest of employees,” it said.
The delegation members present on the occasion were; Mohammad Anwar, Maneet Singh ,S Sarbjit Singh,  Kamaljit Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Vinod Sharma, Shawat, Sakeel Kazee (Doda), Esharat Ahmad Rathore (Kishtwar).
