SRINAGAR, May 29: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti has appointed MLC Yashpal Sharma as general secretary of the party and Waheed ur Rehman Parra as youth wing president.
This was informed by Naeem Akhtar, the party chief spokesman, in a statement issued today.
Yashpal Sharman has been appointed as general secretary of the party and he will look after the organization in Jammu province.
Waheed ur Rehman Parra has been appointed as the president of the youth wing of the party.
Parra, who hails from Naira village in the south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, has studied International Peace and Conflict Studies from Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, and was also awarded peace scholarship by the SIT Graduate Institute, Vermont USA.
