2 killed, five injured in different accidents

SRINAGAR, July 8: Two persons died while as five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tipper JK04/7964 hit a motorcycle near Jamia Masjid Kralhar, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Mohammad Ayoub Rather son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Barthana, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A Tanker JK02AU/5360 driven by Manjeet Singh, son of Gudas Singh resident of Jammu hit a motorcyclist Muneeb Ahmed Bhat, son of Abdul Salam resident of Qaimoh at Harnag-Khanabal, Anantnag. In this accident pillion mate Rukhsana, aged 25 years, daughter of Abdul Salam Bhat resident of Qaimoh died on spot while as the motorcyclist got injured.
A Maruti Car on way from Jammu to Srinagar met with an accident near Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to driver Gurmeet Singh, aged 35 years, son of Omkar Singh resident of Chandrigam-Tral and Mohammad Khanday, aged 52 years, son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Arigam-Tral. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tipper JK14A/7989 driven by Madan Lal, son of Prakash Chand resident of Bypass Jammu on way from Qazigund to Anantnag hit a motorcycle at National Highway Palpora, Mir Bazar-Kulgam. The mishap resulted in injuries to the motorcyclist Mohammad Amin Malik, aged 22 years, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Malwan and pillion mate Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, aged 26 years, son of Mohammad Jamal resident of Malwan. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. The police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
