JAMMU, May 31: Special Municipal Magistrate Jammu, Kamlesh Pandita today awarded one year imprisonment and fine of Rs 2000 to one Farooq Ahmed Ansari, who was driving scooter rashly and killed a boy.
After hearing both the sides, Special Municipal Magistrate observed, “prosecution has been able to prove its case against the accused person for the commission of offences under Sections 279/304-A RPC”.
Accordingly, court awarded one year imprisonment and fine of Rs 2000 to the driver.
