RAJOURI, July 8: A police constable working as follower and deployed in District Police Lines, Rajouri committed suicide late this evening.
Reports said 25-year-old Ashok Kumar ( No.10/F), son of Jagdish Raj, resident of Narsinghpura and posted at DPL consumed some poisonous stuff this evening. He went out of the DPL and then fell down on the road. He was removed to district hospital Rajouri where he died after some time.
The cause behind this extreme step could not be ascertained, however, the police has registered a case for investigation.
