Ram Vihar people resent opening of petrol pump

JAMMU, June 1: Residents of Ram Vihar, Janipura have strongly resented decision of the administration to allow opening of petrol pump in their residential locality, posing threat to their lives and property.
In a representation addressed to the Divisional Commissioner and other senior officers of civil and police administration, Welfare Society Ram Vihar said no objections have been taken from residents of the locality for opening of petrol pump in congested locality inhabited by the local people.
They said the entire area, where the petrol pump was being opened, was surrounded by houses.
They appealed to the authorities to immediately cancel the permission of petrol pump or else they would be forced to hold protests and block road.
