JAMMU, Feb 14: Transport Department of Jammu and Kashmir has accorded sanction to the transfers and postings of several Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs) across various offices in the Union Territory.
As per the order, Abid Hussain Matoo, previously stationed at ARTO Office Baramulla, has been transferred to ARTO Office Budgam against an overstayed MVI. Similarly, Mansoor Hussain Dar, who was attached to the office of the Transport Commissioner J&K, has been reassigned to ARTO Office Samba.
Other key transfers include Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, moved from ARTO Office Bandipora to ARTO Office Kulgam, and Azad Hussain, shifted from ARTO Office Kishtwar to RTO Office Jammu. Vikas Srivastava will now serve at RTO Office Lakhanpur, replacing Rakesh Kumar, who has been transferred to ARTO Office Kishtwar.
Furthermore, Manzoor Ahmad Qureshi from ARTO Office Ganderbal has been moved to RTO Office Srinagar against an overstayed MVI, while Lateef Ahmed Wani will now be posted at ARTO Office Ganderbal in Qureshi’s place. Mohd Owais Qadri from ARTO Office Anantnag has been reassigned to RTO Office Srinagar, replacing Rahil Anjum Bhat, who will now take charge at ARTO Office Anantnag. Surinder Kumar, previously stationed at RTO Office Kathua, has been transferred to ARTO Office Kishtwar.
