SRINAGAR, June 2: A motorcyclist drowned into a nearby canal after he lost control over his bike at Atwatoo in Bandipora district on Sunday evening.
A police spokesman said he has been identified as Ajaz Ahmad Sheer Gojri son of Abdul Ahmad of Quil Muqam of Bandipora. Ajaz was traveling from Atwatoo to Tangath on his Yamaha bike JK05-1836.
The spokesman said his body has been fished out from the canal.
