SAMBA, June 3: The residents of Mansar today protested in front of DC Office, here against the Government decision to bring Mansar area under the jurisdiction of Udhampur district after excluding it from Samba district.
The demonstration was led by the Sarpanch of Mansar Dewan Singh. The protestors raising slogans against the move said that they will launch agitation in case the Government goes ahead with the decision.
Later a delegation of the residents led by Sarpanch also met DC Samba and expressed their resentment against the decision. They said that Mansar should continue to be part of Samba district.
