JAMMU, June 3: All J&K Non-Gazetted Forests Officers Association (NGFOA), Jammu province held a meeting under the chairmanship of its provincial president Ravi Kumar.
During the meeting the participants projected various demands including pay anomaly, risk allowance, two and half day pay, promotion avenues, change of designation of helpers, regularization of daily rated workers and up-gradation of 1345 senior most foresters. The participants demanded fulfillment of all the raised demands.
They added that the association is observing one day token strike on June 10 at Forest Complex, Dogra Hall and requested all the employees to participate in the strike.
Among others present were Bupinder Singh, Varinder Singh, Mahesh Abrol, Rajesh Bakshi, Amardeep Singh, Amit Gupta, Shamsher Singh, RD Singh, Ajit Raj, etc.
