Widespread condolences on Munde’s demise

JAMMU, June 3: The sudden demise of Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Gopinath Pandurangrao Munde was widely mourned in the State today.
The State Government also mourned the demise of Mr Munde and as a mark of respect to departed soul, the National and the State flags were flown at half-mast today on all the buildings and places where these are flown regularly.
The State Cabinet which met today at Srinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condoled the tragic and untimely demise of Mr Munde.
As soon as the Cabinet met, the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues expressed their heartfelt condolences over the tragic incident and said his death has created a great void in public life.
Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh has expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of Mr Munde.
Dr Singh paid tributes to departed leader and conveyed his deep sorrow to the members of the bereaved family.
A condolence meeting was also held at BJP headquarters here to mourn the sudden demise of Mr Munde. Leader of Legislative Party & MLA Jammu East, Ashok Khajuria, State general secretary of the party, Kavinder Gupta led the party activists in paying homage to departed soul. They observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to departed soul and prayed for eternal peace of departed soul and courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has deeply condoled the demise of Mr Munde. PCC chief spokesman and MLC Ravinder Sharma has expressed his deep shock and grief over the demise of Mr Munde.
All J&K Panchayati Conference (AJKPC) today paid homage to Mr Munde.
A condolence meeting was also held at VHP Central office Shakti Ashram Rehari here, today to mourn the sad and untimely demise of Mr Munde. The meeting was chaired by VHP State president, Leela Karan Sharma.
The VHP patron Dr Rama Kant Dubey, its working president Hem Raj Khajura, general secretary, Dr Sham Lal Gupta, vice president, Karan Singh Charak, Surinder Aggarwal and other executive members of VHP attended the meeting.
Jammu and Kashmir Vichar Manch (JKVM) has also expressed profound grief and shock over the sudden demise of Mr Munde.
KPC chief, Kundan Kashmiri has also condoled the demise of Mr Munde.
ASKPC president HL Chatta and its senior vice president, R K Raina, BJP Migrant Cell convener, Bharat Bushan Gosani have also condoled the demise of Mr Munde.
Ram Sena J&K has condoled the demise of Mr Munde.
J&K Brahmin Sabha has condoled the sad and untimely demise of Mr Munde.
Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) led by its president Jathedar Mohinder Singh, has also condoled the demise of Mr Munde.
