JAMMU, June 3: Outgoing Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir Ashok Prasad today took over the charge as Special Director of Intelligence Bureau (IB) in New Delhi.
Prasad is 1979 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
He served as DGP in Jammu and Kashmir a little less than three years.
Prasad has been replaced by K Rajendra Kumar as the new DGP.
