Bar’s concern over power, water crisis

JAMMU, June 4: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president M K Bhardwaj.
During the meeting, Bhardwaj criticized the apathetic attitude of the Government in providing uninterrupted power supply and neat, clean and regular drinking water supply in Jammu region in general and Court premises in particular in the scorching and hot weather conditions.
The association appealed the concerned departments to maintain the regular electric and water supply so that the Judicial Officers, advocates, staff and litigants including the public at large do not suffer and the judicial work would not get affected.
The meeting was attended by Sindhu Sharma, vice president, Ranjit S Jamwal, general secretary, Prem N Sadotra, joint secretary, Gurveer Singh, treasurer, Daljeet Singh, YLA president and Pardeep Majotra, YLA vice president.
