JAMMU, June 4: Police arrested two narcotic smugglers along with 100 grams of charas from Balni area, falling under the jurisdiction of Katra police station.
As per police sources, a police team from Katra police station headed by SP Katra Kulbir Singh laid a naka near Balni and intercepted two motorcyclists.
During checking, police recovered 100 grams of charas and arrested the narcotic smugglers, who have been identified as Sunil, son of Bansi Lal of tehsil Akhnoor and Darshan, son of Sita Ram of district Reasi.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Katra police station and investigation started.
