JAMMU, June 5: Jammu Municipal Corporation in its drive to clean up the nallahs of Jammu city before the onset of monsoon season started its operation from Shakti Nagar.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation started the operation about a week back taking out 250 truck load of material using JCB and other allied machinery as well as man power. The ‘clean up operation’ is being under taken to ensure that no damage is made to the residents living near to Nallahas which can lead to loses of men and resources. The JMC shall be continuing similar operation in other Nallahas in the coming days. It is further appealed to al the citizens of City not to throw any material especially building material which obstructs the free flow of nallahs, roads and lanes.
