JAMMU, June 5: A pilgrim hailing from Uttar Pradesh died due to cardiac arrest while on the way to holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra, district Reasi.
As per police sources, 54-year-old Om Parkash Jaswal, son of Ram Chander, a resident of Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh suffered heart attack near Adh-kuwari in Trikuta Hills.
He was rushed to nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead, spokesman informed.
The body has been handed over to family members after completing of legal formalities.
