Kathua, June 6: Continu-ing its drive against the absconders Kathua Police under the supervision of Mohan Lal, SSP Kathua succeeded in arresting one absconder who was evading arrest for the last six years. He has been identified as Rash Paul Chand S/o Paras Ram R/o Thathi Tehsil & district Udhampur.
Based on a specific information a raid was conducted by the police party of PP Ramkot and the absconder was arrested from his residence (Thathi) who was wanted in case FIR No. 07/2000 U/S 279,337,338 RPC of P/S Billawar and produced in the Court of JMIC Billawar, a police spokes-man said.
The warrant against the absconder U/S 512 Cr.PC was issued by Court on May 8, 2003, he added.
