REASI, June 8: A girl received injuries due to accidental gun shot in village Andar, falling under the jurisdiction of Arnas police station.
As per police sources, 15-year-old Babli Devi, daughter of Parkash Singh, a resident of village Andar, Arnas was playing with the rifle of her father, which accidentally went off, resulting into injuries to the minor in her hand.
After hearing the gun shot, family members rushed to the spot and shifted the profusely bleeding girl to nearby hospital from where she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advance treatment.
At GMC Hospital, the girl was responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
