JAMMU, June 8: Yuva Rajput Sabha held a meeting, in which large number of youth from Rajput community from all the districts of the State participated and shared their ideas for the promotion and upliftment of the community.
During the meeting, Yuva Rajput Sabha also launched membership drive for the community members.
While speaking, Rajinder Singh said that there is a need to unite and work with togetherness for the upliftment of the community in urban and rural areas of the State.
They added that the community is in shambles due to the step motherly attitude of Government towards the Rajputs.
The participants demanded immediate elections of Rajput Sabha, commencement of membership of Rajput Sabha, reduction in membership fee, holiday on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh vis-à-vis rally, procession and celebrations on the day, education of the youth, special educational institutes and professional degree colleges for the Rajput community and hostels for the students coming from far flung and rural areas of the State.
Among others present were Rajesh Singh, Surinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Ranjit Singh, Raghubir Singh, Harnam Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Anudhan Singh, Yashpal Singh, Shamsher Singh, etc.
