SRINAGAR, June 9: A woman was drowned in river Kishan Ganga after slipping from a foot bridge in Bandipora on Monday evening.
A police spokesman said 35-year-old woman, Malli Begum wife of Mohammad Afzal Khan of Malangam slipped off while crossing a foot bridge over river Kishan Ganga at Malangam in Tulail, Bandipora and got drowned.
Her body has been fished out, the police spokesman said.
