NEW DELHI, June 11:  Chana prices rose 0.46 per cent to Rs 2,812 per quintal in futures trade today on rising demand in spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in July moved up by Rs 13, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 2,812 per quintal with an open interest of 1,58,990 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 10, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 2,730 per quintal in 22,470 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by speculators on the back of rise in demand in the spot market led to the rise in chana prices at futures trade. (PTI)
