Two absconders of Prem Nagar murder case held

JAMMU, Mar 25: The J&K Police here today arrested two absconders of Prem Nagar murder case.
As per the case, on March 10, 2025, Garrison Gill, son of George Marshal, a resident of Christian Colony, Jammu, reported at Police Post Gujjar Nagar that on previous night, he and his companion, Akash Gosh, son of Prem Raj, a resident of 4/228 Ravi Nagar Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, were attacked while purchasing groceries at a shop in Prem Nagar.
The accused were identified as Aryan Mattoo, alias Goni, son of Sameer Mattoo, resident of Christian Colony, Jammu and his brother, Addy alias Bakam and his cousin sister, Dyna, wife of Nahid.
They had assaulted Garrison Gill and Akash Gosh with sharp-edged weapon and forcibly took a gold ring from them.
The accused fled the scene after committing the crime.
FIR No. 10/2025 was registered at Police Station Peer Mitha under sections 307, 126(2), 115(2), 3/5 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and section 4/25 of the Arms Act in this regard.
During medical treatment, Garrison Gill succumbed to his injuries, leading to the addition of Section 103 BNS to the investigation.
Dyna was arrested earlier while Aryan Mattoo and Addy were arrested today during raids and they were remanded to Police custody.
