KATHUA, June 13: A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence here.
As per police sources, 15-year-old Reena Devi, daughter of Babu Ram of district Kathua allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to District Hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), but she died on the way.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
