JAMMU, July 10: Reiterating their resolve to address aspirations of all regions and sub-regions of the State, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leaders today said that roadmap prepared by the party was the only viable and most acceptable solution of the Kashmir problem and this roadmap has potential to address external and internal dimensions of Kashmir problem.
Addressing a meeting in connection with the preparations of the coming Foundation Day function of the party to be held at Jammu on August 1 PDP leaders said that self rule document has potential to solve both external and dimensions of the problem and this document was prepared by accommodating wishes of all the stake holders.
They said that the previous PDP led regime had initiated the peace process which ultimately brought positive change in this region and it was result of the reconciliation process started by previous coalition regime that peace was restored from Kathua to Kargil and a sense of security was development among the common masses. They said that solution of Kashmir problem was must for sustainable peace and economic growth of this region.
Calling upon the party workers to make the coming Foundation Day function as grand success, they said that PDP has emerged as a big political force in the State. They said that PDP has earned credibility of the people through its convictions and commitment.
Rangil Singh, Trilok Singh Bajwa, Balbir Singh, Daman Bhasin, Ved Mahajan, Fallail Singh, Hussain Ali Wafa, B B Gupta, Ashok Jogi, R K Bali, Suram Singh, Sukhdev Sharma and others addressed the meeting.
