NEW DELHI, June 21: Freight rates for 10-tonne pay load section for Goa and Kochi improved by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks amidst busy cargo movements.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight position of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Kochi rates were up by Rs 1,000 to Rs 77,000, rates to Goa also rose by Rs 1,000 at Rs 57,000.
