Rich tributes paid to Lala Shiv Charan Gupta on his 6th death anniversary

JAMMU, June 22: Lala Shiv Charan Gupta Yadghar Samittee today organized a grand function on the 6th death anniversary of Late Lala Shiv Charan Gupta. The function was held in the Shri Goverdhan Palace Udhampur under the chairmanship of Chajju Ram Shastri, President of the Samittee and a large number of people attended it.
Raj Kumar Bucha, Udhampur Mandal president BJP managed the stage.  The prominent among others present in the function were State BJP leader Satish Sharma, MLA Katra – Reasi Assembly Constituency, Baldev Sharma, Seh-Prant Karyavaha RSS, Ashwani Gupta, Vibhag Sangh Chalek Dharmveer Gupta, Ex – MLA Prithvi Chand, National Executive Member Purev Sainik Parished Col. (retd) K.S. Juneja, Sarpanchs of the various areas and Ex-Councilors of Udhampur and they paid glowing tributes to Lala Shiv Charan Gupta.
The family members of Lala Shiv Charan Gupta along with senior BJP leader and his son Pawan Gupta were also present in the function. In his presidential address, Chajju Ram Shastri and associate of Lala highlighted the social, political struggle of late leader and also recalled his experiences of life with him.
He said that Lala Shiv Charan Gupta was an important and heavy weight leader of the State after Pt. Prem Dogra.
A langer was also arranged by the Lal Shiv Charan Gupta Yadghar Samittee.
