Crackdown on JKLF activists

SRINAGAR, June 22: Ahead of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front’s “Quit Kashmir” march tomorrow, police in a major crackdown have detained several of their activists during raids across Kashmir valley.
Authorities are likely to impose restrictions on public assembly in certain areas in Civil Lines tomorrow in order to prevent any law and order problem as JKLF is organizing a protest march tomorrow at Lal Chowk.
Police has also intensified its search to nab the senior leadership of JKLF leaders including its chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik who according to JKLF has gone into hiding in order to lead the a protest march tomorrow.
