JAMMU, June 23: All J&K Unemployed Engineers Association urged the Government to redress their long pending demand of adjustment at the earliest.
Addressing a press conference, Rajeev, president of the association said that ‘we are struggling to get our demands redressed for the past seven years, but nothing has been done by the successive Governments in the State’.
He added that Rehber-e-Tamirat (ReT) is a complete solution for adjustment for all unemployed engineers and specially those, who were over-aged and got another chance to get job after decision of enhancing time frame of eligible age for the Government job from 37 years to 40 years.
He further stated that especially the diploma engineers get a lifeline by this, who are not eligible in any other category and are at the stage of starvation at the moment.
The association appealed the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter and redress the issues at the earliest so as to save the future of unemployed engineers.
