Jammu, June 23: Eminent educationist and former Director Education Prof RK Chhibber passed away in New Delhi today morning. He was 75.
Author of over two dozen books of Physics and General Science, Prof Chhibber also remained Principal, College of Education and State Institute of Education apart from holding many other posts in school and higher education.
He is survived by his wife, son Maneesh Chhibber, Legal Editor, The Indian Express, and one daughter.
He was cremated in the afternoon where people from different walks of life were present.
Rasam Pagri and Uthala will be performed on June 25 at Gurdwara Tali Sahib, Pacca Gharat, Talab Tillo between 5 pm and 6 pm.
