UDHAMPUR, June 24: Two persons, including a teenaged boy, sustained burn injuries in separate incidents, here today.
Reports said that Sohan Singh (15) son of Nar Singh of Basht- Chenani accidentally came in contact with fire and received burn injuries at his house. He was shifted to Sub – District Hospital Chenani where doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. Though he has received 25 percent burn injuries, the doctors further referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu for better treatment.
An employee of Leighton construction company also received serious burn injuries while cooking food at a rented accommodation in Chenani. Identified as Satish Kumar son of Jia Lal of Doru Kishtwar, the injured has received 80 percent burns and doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Meanwhile, one person was injured when a Tavera vehicle on way from Latti to Udhampur rolled down from the National Highway near Tharad, here today.
The injured, identified as Kasturi Lal (35) son of Diwan Chand of Bapp Srar, Chenani was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur.
