KATHUA, June 25: The Performers Group of Art and Culture in connection with Jamkash Vehicleades Private Limited organized a ‘Grameen Mohatsav’ here today.
The main aim of organizing the mohatsav is to promote Dogra culture and heritage through folk dance and songs.
The show was arranged by Rakesh Kumar, RDM Vehicleades and Brij Lal, Zonal Manager.
During the programme, a number of cultural items were presented by the renowned artists of the State which enthralled the audience. Dogri, Punjabi and Western Songs “Sunne Di Phakhi, Loka Kadu, Maharaja (Punjabi), Guud Nal Iskh Meetha, Chan Chan Punjaeeb, Zoobi Dobbi Doobi, Hooka Bar and Punjabi Gidda were highly appreciated by the villagers.
Among others were performed during the show were Sonia Rajput, Ashima Sharma, Ronty Jamwal, Monty Jamwal, Vijay Kumar and Ajay Sharma.
The programe was directed and compared by renowed anchor Urja Singh, President, The Performers whereas dances were choreographed by Sonia Rajput and Vijay Kumar.
