Srinagar techie killed in Indore

Srinagar, June 25: A Srinagar techie working with Intex Technologies in Indore Madhya Pradesh was shot dead by an assailant over a business issue in his office today.
The deceased has been identified as Tahir Hussain Dar, 34, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Bunansar area of Sonawar, Srinagar.
Police said that the accused, Govind, was operating a franchisee of the company’s mobile service centre was unable to run it properly, following which he was asked to stop it.
“The accused reached Ravi Apartment in Intex Technology’s regional office located in Chandralok Colony to discuss the issue of closure of his franchisee with the company’s head Tahir”, police said.
Police said that accused arrived in Tahir’s office along with an associate to discuss the issue. “When the company official’s didn’t respond to his plea, he shot at Tahir from close range,” police said. Another company official was also fired but he escaped unhurt. Tahir died at a private hospital.
Police have registered a case under FIR no. 418/2014 under section 302, 307, 34 IPC in Police Station Palasiya.
Meanwhile, a Jammu and Kashmir police spokesman said that police is in constant touch with Indore police and the developments in the investigation are being monitored constantly. IGP Kashmir has taken up the case with the top brass of MP police who have assured that the investigation will be pursued vigorously. They have informed IGP Kashmir that Special Investigation Team has been constituted and all out efforts shall be made to ensure fair and speedy probe.
