ReZ Technocrats stage protest dharna

JAMMU, June 26: To express resentment and protest against repeated delay in publication of selection order/list, hundreds of Rehbar-e-Zeraat (ReZ) Technocrats held a peaceful sit-in dharna led by Surinder Radotra, president JKATA in the premises of Directorate of Agriculture, here today.
The ReZs blamed the Agriculture authorities for being apathetic towards their sufferings as they have been told since yesterday that their selection order/list would be published positively. The technocrats in deputations met Director Agriculture several times.
It is pertinent to mention here that the selection list of VAEA has already been published in Kashmir division on June 23, 2014 and the selected employees joined the service yesterday itself.
To press upon the authorities to bring out the selection order/list of Jammu division ReZs at the earliest, a peaceful sit-in dharna continued overnight today.
Earlier JKATA also conveyed their issues and demands to concerned Ministers including former Minister & Senior Vice President National Conference S S Slathia seeking the personal intervention of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.
The technocrats asserted that they would resort to indefinite agitation if their demands are not redressed.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Mohd Anwar, Shakeel, Tejvir Singh Bali, Rajesh Singh, Ajay Singh Sarbjeet Singh, Maneet Singh, Shaswat Raizada,  Kamaljit Singh, Pratish Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Inder Pal Singh, Prakashvir Singh and Vinod Sharma.
