POONCH, June 26: Head of Shri Budha Amarnath Shrine, 1008 Swami Vishavatmanand Ji Maharaj reviewed the arrangements for the forthcoming Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra here today.
He convened a meeting of Budha Amarnath Shrine committee and discussed the yatra arrangements.
President, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Satish Sasan along with his members also attended the meeting and revealed the yatra arrangements at Shri Geeta Bhawan Poonch.
Detailed discussion on various aspects of Yatra was held to provide sufficient and comfortable accommodation to yatries whose rush is expected to increase from July 1 onwards.
The meeting discussed in detail the arrangements for security, proper sanitation, uninterrupted power and water supply, street lights renovations, parking of vehicles, provision of first aid for Health Care equipped with ambulance, erection of kitchen sheds, bathrooms and temporary latrines, maintenance of sanitation, availability of ration, cooking gas and provision of tents.
Swami Ji asked the members to complete all arrangements before the start of annual Yatra from July 1.
Ramesh Bali, Sanjeev Kapoor, Bhopinder Singh, Gulshan Bakshi, secretary Budha Amarnath Committee and Prakash Dutta were present in the meeting.
