Shine Star wins T20 final; Chib distributes prizes

RS PURA, June 26: Outplaying Sadharya Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the summit clash, Shine Star Cricket Club lifted the title trophy of the Summer Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, which concluded here today.
Former Minister for Sports, RS Chib was the chief guest on the valedictory function who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
The Tournament, in which 64 teams drawn from RS Pura, Bishnah, Miran Sahib, Jammu and adjoining areas participated, was organized by Satryian Cricket Club, under the supervision of Shubham Sharma, Sandeep Jamwal, Pawan Chib and Rajinder Chib.
Afridi was adjudged man of the match in the final, while the man of the series award was bagged by Mannu and the best fielder award went to Sandeep Singh.
A trophy and a cash prize of Rs 12,000 was presented to the winners, while the runners-up team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 6,000 and a trophy by the chief guest on the occasion.
