Army organizes medical camp

JAMMU, June 26: A 15-day long medical camp organized by Nowshera Brigade culminated at Nowshera today.
The camp offered free eye checkup, dental checkup, general OPD, Immunization and medicines to the people.
A number of cataract cases were also operated free of cost during the camp.  The highlight of the camp was provision of Artificial Limbs to the mine victims,    Calipers to Polio affected persons and treatment of children with congenital disorders.
A few children were also referred to PGI Chandigarh for advance treatment.
The civil dignitaries who were present during the culmination ceremony, lauded the efforts of the Indian Army towards addressing the problems of the poor and needy of the region and hoped that such camps would be organized in future as well.
