Vikar lays foundation of addl accommodation at GHS Buzla

RAMBAN, June 27: Minister of State for Technical Education, Information, Parliamentary Affairs, Social Welfare, CAPD and Rural Development, Vikar Rasool Wani today laid the foundation of additional accommodation for Govt High School Buzla Khari Banihal. The project is coming up at an estimated cost of Rs.49.17 lakh under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA).
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the education and health are priority sectors for the present Government and during its regime all efforts have been made for development of new and upgradation of existing infrastructure in both the sectors in the area.
The Minister said that over 300 educational institutions have been established and upgraded and an equal number of ReTs have also been  engaged in areas like Khari, Shagan, Trigam, Chapnari, Amkote, Chachihaal, Chamalwas, Checknarwah, Senabati and Maligam.
Under the health sector, Mr. Vikar said that an additional complex at Sub District Hospital Banihal is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 22 crore which is expected to be completed soon for delivery of health services to the people of the area. He said that large number of dispensaries have been established in the area to provide better health care to the people at their doorsteps, adding that the work on the recently announced Nursing College at Banihal will commence soon.
Responding to the demands, the Minister said that transformers for Maran and Kharal villages will be installed shortly, besides 600 pipes from PHE will be provided to the people of Buzla to address the power and water supply problems in these areas.   He also assured the people of Chaipal and Haran for opening of primary schools at these hamlets.
