UDHAMPUR, June 27: The Devika Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd opened its fourth branch at Main Chowk, Chenani, here today.
The branch was inaugurated by Yasha Mudgal, DDC Udhampur in a simple function. Vikram Singh Slathia, Chairman of the Bank while speaking on the occasion said that the bank is committed to provide the customers best of its services, adding that they have fulfilled their commitment of opening its branch at Chenani.
The branch is fully equipped with modern banking facilities and is online.
Yasha Mudgal appreciated the performance of the bank and said bank has made remarkable achievement under the guidance of present Chairman Vikram Singh Slathia. DDC also advised the Bank authorities to sanction loan under priority sector lending to people below poverty line for construction of houses.
Director of the bank, Dina Nath Bhagat and Dy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Qummer-ul-Zaman also threw light on the functioning of the bank.
Prominent among others who were present in the Inaugural function were Rakesh Jamwal, Ashok Sachdeva, Bodh Raj, Manju Gupta, Hans Raj Gupta, Rakesh Sharma,. Pawan Gupta, Chander Shekhar, Sham Modi, Ashok Dogra and Arun Rashmi.
