NEW DELHI, July 1:
President Pranab Mukherjee today made his debut on social networking site Twitter. The Twitter handle of the President- @RashtrapatiBhvn – was launched with a cover picture of the Rashtrapati Bhawan and profile picture of Mr Mukherjee.
“This is the official Twitter account of Rashtrapati Bhavan and is run by President’s Secretariat. Tweets from the President are signed – President Mukherjee,” the bio of the profile said. Within a few hours, the number of followers of the President’s Twitter handle has crossed 4,000. (UNI)
