SAMBA, July 1: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated construction of lanes and drains at village Trindia in Vijaypur which has been completed at the cost of Rs.5.00 lakh executed by Rural Development Department.
While addressing a public meeting on the occasion, Slathia issued on spot instructions to the concerned for early completion of ongoing construction of Community Facility Centre. He also asked the concerned for up gradation of Transformer from 63 KVA to 100 KVA so that the people of the area shall be benefited for uninterrupted power supply.
Responding to the demands of the people Slathia assured them that their pending demands like construction of lanes and drains, repair of roads shall be taken up on priority.
While addressing the meeting Slathia highlighted the achievements of the present Government during the last five and half years. He said that some vested interests are hell bent to create confusion among the peace loving people on religious and regional basis by raising emotional slogans but the secular forces in the state have to come together to give befitting reply to such nefarious elements.
