DODA, July 2: Police arrested an absconder from Barath, who was evading his arrest for the past four years.
A police spokesman said that, police party from Doda police station arrested an absconder namely Mir Hussain, son of Mithu Gujjar of Gujarari Barath, who was evading his arrest since 2010.
The accused was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 261/14 under Section 366 and 199 of RPC and warrant under Section 512 CrPC was also issued by the court against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police party headed by SHO Doda police station made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Doda Mohammad Sharief Chouhan.
