JAMMU : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today reviewed security scenario ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to this winter capital of the state scheduled for tomorrow.
Mr Modi will visit Katra to inaugurate Katra-Udhampur rail link and in the afternoon will review security and 240 MW Uri-II Hydroelectric Power Project in Srinagar. “Mr Abdullah this afternoon took stock of the security situation and arrangements put in place on the occasion of Prime Minister, Narinder Modi’s visit” official spokesman here said. He said the Chief Minister received brief in this regard at a high level meeting held here under his chairmanship in which Director General Police and senior officers of various departments and security agencies participated.
