UDHAMPUR, July 5: Mystery shrouded death of a girl who was found hanging with a tree near her house in Pancheri, district Udhampur.
Reports said that Shrishata Devi (19) daughter of Puran Chand of Batota in Pancheri was found hanging with a tree under mysterious circumstances. On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and took the dead body in their custody.
Later the body was shifted to Pancheri Hospital for postmortem while a case under Section 174 has been registered in this connection further investigation.
Meanwhile, a youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Gordi forest area. The deceased was identified as Shatu (26), son of Usaf of Tnsal Chenani in district Udhampur. Police took the body to PHC Gordi for postmortem and registered a case under 174 RPC for further investigation.
