UDHAMPUR, July 10: On value addition in fruits and vegetables for women entrepreneurs, one month training programme concluded at Horticulture Complex here today.
The training programme was organized by Horticulture Department Udhampur. As many as 41 women of the district participated in this training programme.
District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Mudgal appreciated the participants for showing keen interest in the training programme and directed the department to continue such programme in future also. She also inspected the products prepared by the women participants during the training programme. She distributed certificates among the participants.
She also directed Chief Horticulture Officer Udhampur that such training programme should be organized at village level.
Chief Horticulture Officer, Udhampur, C.L. Sharma, Manager-cum-Chemist Udhampur, Salil Kumar Gupta, District Horticulture Officer Udhampur, Rajesh Dhar, Horticulture Development Officer, Anil Kumar Chibber were also present on the occasion.
