UDHAMPUR, July 10: A truck driver was killed in road accident while a boy fell down from a mango tree in Majalata area today.
A police spokesman said that a truck went out of control after brake failure at Kral Nallah in Kud area this morning. The truck No. PB05M/9122 was hit against the hill and over turned on the road. The driver received serious head injuries and was rushed to Chenani Hospital where he was declared as dead. He was identified as Sukhvinder Singh (32), son of Gurnam Singh of Firozpur in Punjab.
Meanwhile, a 16-year- old boy namely Rohit Singh, son of Mohinder Singh, resident of Bulal Punara in Majalta fell down from a mango tree and received serious head injuries. He was rushed to hospital at Punara where doctor declared him as dead.
